AGCI is excited to announce our 2014-15 Vision & Call Internship Program. This is a paid, full-time, year-round internship program for college graduates (by June 30, 2014). Paid internships will be available in the areas of:

 Position A) Adoption Communications Coordinator - responsible for tracking case files, receiving and processing adoption inquiries, assisting with facilitating seminars and webinars, and related tasks.

 Position B) Adoption Paperwork Coordinator - responsible for tracking case files, assisting families with adoption paperwork, receiving and processing post-adoption reports, and related tasks.

 Position C) Fundraising, Development & Orphan Care Coordinator - responsible for support and advocacy of AGCI’s Orphan Care ministry. The intern will also have responsibility to conduct orphan sponsorship outreach presentations at area churches, schools, community groups, and events.

The purpose of the AGCI Vision & Call Internship Program is to provide an entry-level full-time work experience in an apprenticeship model of learning that combines individual work in a specialized area with a multi-faceted training program in the issues of adoption and orphan care. The internship experience is designed to provide each intern with skills and training needed to be highly successful in an entry-level position in the field. Many elements of the internship will also be transferable to careers in social work, international affairs and business.

General applicant criteria:

Recent college graduate with a BA/BS minimum (degree earned between January 1, 2012 and June 30, 2014);

US citizen with a valid passport;

Direct connection to adoption and/or orphan care (adopted person, immediate family member adopted, other adoption/orphan care-related experience);

Willingness and ability to travel on a short-term mission trip outside the US.

 Specific criteria:

Positions A) and B) require a BA/BS minimum in Social Work or related field;

Position C) requires a BA/BS minimum in International Studies, Business, Marketing or related field.

 Preference will be given to individuals who have themselves been adopted.

 Compensation is Oregon minimum wage.
