Born in the summer of 2009, this little girl is diagnosed with Down’s syndrome, resulting in physical and intellectual challenges. She is aware of people who are talking, but does not respond when her name is spoken. She is able to hold a bottle and is learning to pick up toys. While she can’t sit steadily on her own, with assistance she is able to sit straight. She is an observant little girl who loves to be cuddled.
A family for this child will understand physical challenges and developmental delays. In addition, she should be the youngest child in the family.
For families adopting a Waiting Child, $50,000 in grant money has been made available to AGCI to assist in waiting child adoptions. Learn more about available grants by asking your Inquiry Coordinator.
