November is National Adoption Month, a time to focus attention on building loving families through adoption. If you are considering adoption, this is a great time to start the process.

Also this month is Orphan Sunday. On November 6th, churches across America and around the globe will focus on a single goal – that we will answer God’s call to care for the orphan.

Born in the summer of 2009, this little girl is diagnosed with Down’s syndrome, resulting in physical and intellectual challenges. She is aware of people who are talking, but does not respond when her name is spoken. She is able to hold a bottle and is learning to pick up toys. While she can’t sit steadily on her own, with assistance she is able to sit straight. She is an observant little girl who loves to be cuddled.

A family for this child will understand physical challenges and developmental delays. In addition, she should be the youngest child in the family.
