The Story of All God's Children

In August of 1990 our daughter Heather journeyed to Bucharest, Romania on a personal mission to help orphans living in hopeless despair. After her return God led us to step out in faith and answer His call to add another child to our family. Heather returned to Romania on our behalf in December of 1990, found her baby sister Hannah, and completed her adoption. She brought Hannah home to us a month later. Thinking we now had our family complete, we expected our life to go back to normal. Little did we know that Hannah's adoption had just been the beginning of what would become a world wide adoption and orphan care agency? Just a month later Heather in February of 1991 returned to Romania, determined to spend her life giving help and hope to orphaned children around the world. This vision and call was the beginning of All God's Children International. Over the next few years Heather's personal call would become our families call as well. I would imagine we were like your family, very ordinary, but God asked us to walk in faith to fulfill His extraordinary call to care for the orphan.

Heather would make her home first in Bucharest Romania, and then spend 3 years living in Sofia, Bulgaria, building adoption and orphan care programs in both of these countries. What began as a desire to help one child has grown over many years to change the lives of needy children in the countries of Guatemala, China, Vietnam, Ethiopia, Nepal, Russia, Macedonia, Albania, and beyond. We have been privileged to embrace the children through our orphan care programs, as well as having the honor of placing them into their forever families. AGCI now has offices in Oregon, Michigan, Washington and Ohio. We are able to offer home study services around the U.S and make available both pre and post adoption support and care for our adoptive families.

Through our special orphan care ministries we are blessed to be able to give our families and friends the opportunity to be a part of our AGCI mission trips and also the ability to give ongoing support to orphaned children through our sponsorship programs. AGCI's children's home Hannah's Hope has become a refuge of hope and love for the neediest little ones. It is a home where abandoned and orphaned children are rescued daily and given the love and care they deserve. We have been so privileged to give these children the second chances they long for and deserve. As we look back over the years we have been so blessed to be able to answer the call that God gave us as a family. Many have joined us on our journey to make a difference in the lives of the orphan children and it is our prayer that many more will walk beside us in the future.

God has called us to passionately serve the world's forgotten children by creating hope through life-changing ministries.
