We adopted our son Andrew from China through AGCI in June, 2006. When we started our adoption process, we had no idea that God already had a special little boy in mind for us to adopt as our son. God used various individuals at AGCI to help bring our son home and we are so thankful to God for each person at AGCI who supported us throughout the entire process.

The process can be overwhelming, but with the communication and compassion from everyone at AGCI, it was very manageable and so much easier than it might have been. It was very obvious to us that this was much more than a process or a numbers game. They truly cared about Andrew coming home to his forever family and about all of us adjusting very well.

Right from the very beginning, various staff members, such as Hollen, Tiffany, Kate, Trish, Don, Joni, Susan, just to name a few, helped to establish a relationship with us and did a wonderful job leading us through each step. No questions were too small or unimportant. The support we received was much more than the paperwork prior to the adoption. The staff in China were also very helpful and a delight to work with while there. While we were in China, we were able to call Don Beazely back in the U.S. Don actually called us a few times also to provide help with our adjustment. That kind of support was invaluable to us, going way above and beyond to help us right when we needed it most.

We had a wonderful experience with AGCI and we know that our family success was greatly enhanced by the support we received from so many people at AGCI.

We chose AGCI after much prayer, they were the only agency that God really impressed upon our hearts. One of the main reasons was their love for children that is so evident in not only their adoption efforts, but also in all the ways they take care of the children who may never get adopted through such outreaches as Hannah’s Hope. Throughout the 18 month process (4 month paper chase and 14 months of waiting for our referral) we never had a need that was not met by AGCI. When we traveled to China and spent time with both Benjamin and Angela, we felt we had been blessed by them. They were so kind, helpfuland interesting to talk to! We thoroughly enjoyed our time with them. All of the details of our travel were taken care of throughout our time in China. When we returned, the help didn’t stop. AGCI was there for us a couple of times when we were dealing with adjustment issues with our daughter, Grace. Since then, three more families that we know have used, or are using AGCI, for the adoption of their daughters from China. And, if God calls us to adopt again, we will most definitely be working through AGCI to bring another precious child home!

When our family recounts the past 18 months of our adoption journey, we are quick to share that while the biggest blessing of our journey has been the addition of our beautiful daughter, Katie Mei, to our family, the next biggest blessing in our journey was the incredible friendships and support we received from All God’s Children. Turning our family of four into a family of five took many months, piles of paperwork, lots of prayer, and almost a year of waiting. Every step of the way we received tender support and specific instructions from All God’s Children.

From details about paperwork, to encouraging phone calls when all we could do was wait, our adoption counselors were God’s provision of information, hope and encouragement. When we received our referral call this past February, it wasn’t just a random voice on the other end of the phone line. It was someone who had become a trusted friend and support, someone who was thrilled and excited to be giving us our daughter, someone who had prayed for us and worked for us. We are so thankful to now be a family of five—and we are so thankful that All God’s Children was the instrument that was used to grow our family!

Just one year ago adoption was a dream that I was just beginning to investigate. I emailed AGCI and a number of other agencies requesting information. AGCI’s response was immediate and thorough. I was impressed that they followed up by calling me. I took them up on their offer to stay in touch, though I didn’t know when or if we would decide to adopt. I never felt pressured, but from the start I knew they were readily available to answer my questions. A few months later we were ready to start the adoption process and we were excited to work with AGCI. Our journey was unusually fast. We accepted Kira from AGCI’s special needs list and traveled to China last month to pick her up. AGCI carefully guided us through all of the pre-travel paperwork and through the necessary appointments in China. We have every confidence in AGCI’s experience and heart. We hope to work with them again on another adoption.

We could not be happier with our lives right now. We truly feel that our family is complete with the adoption of Hannah Mei (Mao Xi Yue) in March 2006. We owe so much to AGCI for their commitment in finalizing all of the paperwork necessary to bring these little precious ones home to their forever families. For all of their hard work, we are forever grateful. Every one of the girls we worked with at AGCI throughout our journey was always there to help with the many questions we had, and their hearts are as big as gold. Their calls and emails overflowed with their passion to bring these little children home. We were very much at peace with our decision to use AGCI for our adoption and we are recommending them to everyone who feels called to adoption.

We thank AGCI so much for all that they do, not only for our family, but for the many families that God is calling to adopt in the future. We pray that these families’ hearts would be open to follow God’s will, and He will surely provide everything they need for this awesome journey. Our lives are changed forever and we thank AGCI from the bottom of our hearts!

All God’s Children International has been a wonderful agency to work with through the recent adoption of our little girl. They were always available to answer our multitude of questions. It never seemed to matter to them how big or small those questions were, they were always happy to answer them for us or to find out the answers and get back to us as soon as possible. We very much appreciated the phone calls that were made to us on a regular basis, checking in on us to see how we were doing throughout the adoption process. Most importantly, we knew that they were there to pray for us as we went through the process, and as we accepted the referral of our daughter. We appreciate each one of the people on staff that helped make our adoption possible. AGCI comes highly recommended by our family!

Throughout our adoption journey, AGCI was very helpful and encouraging. They kept us well informed of the process and walked with us every step of the way towards accomplishing our goal. Our China team stayed in close contact with us by calling weekly and responding to emails daily. Our family feels truly blessed to have partnered with AGCI in order to bring our daughter home.

We really appreciated the prayers of the China coordinators during our entire adoption process. This gave us great peace because we knew that everything was brought before God for His leading and help. We also felt very supported by the weekly and monthly phone calls, the prompt email contact, and the Waiting China Families List serve. From our initial contact and through the entire adoption process, All God’s Children International (AGCI) was very personable, yet highly professional. As we filled out all the necessary forms, AGCI demonstrated exceptional attention to detail and answered every question we had regarding adopting from China. Beyond answering our questions, AGCI contacted us regularly via monthly emails and weekly telephone calls, as they provided superb one-on-one care. As we prepared for our visit to China, AGCI carefully ensured that we met all the requirements involved in such an international journey. When we arrived in China, our guides (Angela and Sherry) provided exceptional assistance and were very proactive, frequently verifying that all was well with our family. From meeting us at the airport, taking us to all the places we had to go, coordinating all the activities of the small groups, and then returning us to the airport, Angela and Sherry were extremely helpful. After returning from China with our wonderful daughter, AGCI has further assisted with post-placement visits via gentle reminders. The staff at AGCI is amazing and professional. We feel that AGCI has become more like members of our extended family, rather than just an adoption facilitation agency.
