Estimates suggest that 1 million of Rwanda’s 10 million residents are orphaned children. These children fill orphanages or live on the streets due to poverty, the repercussions of war, the AIDS pandemic, and the impact of the 1994 genocide when more than 1 million Rwandans were killed. AGCI is blessed to answer the call to serve orphaned children in Rwanda through a variety of initiatives.
