Rwanda Mission Team Update

Imana ni nziza (God is Good). We arrived safely in Rwanda on Saturday. Only half of our luggage was missing, but it arrived Sunday about 30 hours after we arrived. We have done a lot in five days. We have spent time with the boys from Home of Innocence, Gahanga Orphanage, teaching Sunday school for Africa New Life Ministries, and organized a school room for Ten Talents International. We have also been entertained by the boys from Home of Innocence with traditional Rwandan dancing. Sunday we visited the Kigali Genocide Memorial. The stories and images of the genocide will never be forgotten. I truly believed everyone on the team has been changed in some way by both our experiences and by the boys from the Home of Innocence. Initial first impressions of Rwanda: resilience and love. Please continue to pray for those on the team as well as those we will be serving at Noel Orphanage for the next 3 days.
