We are forever grateful to All God's Children for the part they played in bringing us together with our daughter, Gabi. We originally chose to work with AGCI because of their excellent program in Guatemala with Hannah's Hope. After several months in the Guatemala program, AGCI announced they would begin adoptions in Nepal as well. Because we met all of the requirements necessary to adopt a child from Nepal, we prayed about it and made the decision to change courses. We are glad we did. Not only were we united with the perfect daughter God had chosen for us, but we also got to experience the amazing culture, people, and splendor of Nepal. Viewing Mt. Everest up close from the cockpit of an airplane, climbing 365 stairs to a magnificent Buddhist temple overlooking Kathmandu while being greeted by monkeys the whole way, and experiencing a Hindu funeral up close and personal, are truly experiences of a lifetime!

The most wonderful experience, of course, is that of meeting your child. The Children's Home Orphanage is really like a loving family. Gabi was so loved, and even spoiled, while she was there! When you visit your child, the staff also gives you the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to interact with all of the children there. I will never forget sitting in the courtyard with 10 Nepalese preschoolers counting to 100 in English over and over again or playing football with the little boys.

Our little girl, Gabrielle Uma, came home to us when she was 11 months old. She was crawling around the house with her brothers and laughing within minutes of being home. She is happy, healthy, smart, and as pretty as a princess! To think we started our adoption journey knowing little to nothing about the country of Nepal, and we are now the proud parents of an amazing Nepalese-American child! We highly recommend All God's Children and the Nepal program if you are considering adoption. The staff is truly dedicated to uniting families with their children. They are friendly, well-experienced, and communicative throughout the entire process. Good luck to you!
