He is currently 32.7 inches tall, weighs 24.2 pounds, and has 19 teeth. He can communicate with others but due to his cleft lip and plate that are repaired his tone is not very clear. He is developmentally on track and is attending classes every day. He can count from 1 to 4. He is described as introverted, quiet and restrained around strangers. He becomes active when he plays with other kids.
He was found on May 21, 2004 on the street by a police officer after a call came into the police station. He was taken to the Civil Affairs office and then on June 7, 2004 he was brought to the orphanage. His birth date was set at April 7, 2004. When he arrived at the orphanage he weighed 8.4 pounds and was 20.5 inches long. His head measured 13.5 inches and his chest measured 13 inches. He had a cleft palate and lip but was otherwise healthy and normal. At his last exam on February 8, 2007 he weighed 19.8 pounds and was 32.7 inches tall. On July 1, 2005 he underwent cleft palate and lip repair surgery which were both successful and he recovered well. He is described as introverted and shy in front of strangers. He is very close to people he knows and smiles often. He is well coordinated and can walk, run and go up/down stairs. He likes to help adults and when the younger kids are being fed he can hold the bottles. He likes listening to music and dance to the beat. He has been developing normally.
