Open a door of hope

He was found abandoned in a flea market in April 2006 and taken to the orphanage the same day after it was determined that he was truly an orphan. His birth date was set in October 2005. When he arrived at the orphanage he weighed 10.8 pounds and was 23.6 inches long. His head and chest both measured 15.4 inches. Upon exam it was determined that he had a cleft palate, cleft lip and was Hepatitis B positive. At his last exam in February 2007 he weighed 19.2 pounds and was 29.8 inches. In September 2006 he underwent surgery to repair his cleft palate and cleft lip. Both surgeries were successful and he recovered fully.

He is described as an active and lovely little boy. He is not shy when with strangers and will approach with curiosity, while keeping a distance. He likes to play with other kids. He has been working on his speech. His motion skills are developing well and he can walk on his own. He has been growing happily under the loving care of the orphanage.
