Open a door of hope

He was found abandoned on the street in December 2003 and was sent to the orphanage the same day. His birth date was estimated to be in August 2003, according to his physical development. When he entered the orphanage he was 13.7 inches long and weighed 9 pounds. His chest measured 14.9 inches and his head measured 16 inches. He underwent surgery in March 2004 to repair his cleft lip and it was successful. He underwent surgery to repair his cleft palate in April 2007 and it was also successful. At his last exam in March 2007 he was 37.4 inches tall and weighed 30.8 pounds.

He is described as a clever and cute boy. He loves to take part in group activities. He knows all of his classmates' names and can communicate and express himself. He is willing to play with friends and help the teachers with tasks. He can recite many children's rhymes.

He is currently 31 inches tall and weighs 22 pounds. He has 14 teeth and says "mama", "baba", "shu shu", and "a yi". But he won't talk when he sees strangers. His speech is still not clear even though is cleft lip and palate are repaired. He can walk and trot and he is smart and active. He is healthy, seldom ill. He likes to listen to music. He has a good appetite and is not picky, he especially likes fruit, cracker and snacks.
