Open a door of hope

He was found abandoned on a bus on November 19, 2005 and was sent to the orphanage that same day. His birth date was determined to be November 1, 2005, based on his development. When he entered the orphanage he was diagnosed with hypospadias. He was 11.8 inches long and weighed 6 pounds. His head measured 14 inches and his chest measured 14.9 inches. He was examined at the No. 1 People's Hospital on April 2, 2007 and was diagnosed with scapus penis type hypospadias. He was examined at the Beijing Anzhen Hospital on April 29, 2007 for an intrapelvic exploration and they suggested surgery. The orphanage states that the hypospadias does not affect his life routine. At his last exam on March 22, 2007 he was 30.7 inches tall and weighed 23.1 pounds.

He loves to play with toys and friends. He understands the nannies and can walk with his hand holding on to something. He can say "baba" and "mama". He can hold his bottle and feed himself milk and cracker. He has been eating well and is now plump. He is not a picky eater and has a good appetite. He especially likes soup, congee, noodle, pancake with meat inside, fried rice, fish, cracker and bananas.
