After Isabella witnessed her dad’s violent death last winter, her sense of security was shattered. When police arrested Isabella’s mom for his murder, she felt completely alone. Her tender heart was overwhelmed with grief, fear, and uncertainty.
Isabella recently moved in with her loving aunt Dolores, who does her best to protect her neice. But Dolores desperately needs assistance, especially during the summer months, when school is out.
Without support this summer, Isabella will spend hours unsupervised while Dolores works, barely earning enough to survive. In their community, Isabella will be at risk of experiencing gang violence, abuse, early pregnancy, trafficking, and exploitation.
